About

Anthony Quintano relies on his diverse experience to lead teams of creatives to capture, direct, produce and publish compelling visual stories across platforms for news organizations and corporate clients.

At the vanguard of producing high-quality, meaningful video content for social media, Anthony built a significant social media following long before most knew of its importance and parlayed that into pioneering the position of Senior Community/Social Media Manager for NBC News. More than just posting, in this role Anthony continued to devise, create and edit photos and videos, managed all social media for NBC News, advised social media strategy for NBC Sports, CNBC, MSNBC and E! network, and trained professional staff (including prominent journalists) how to brand and manage their profiles and pages.

Anthony served in a similar role for ReCode, where he designed and built the social media audience and community strategy, and worked with tech journalists on sharing their reporting on social platforms.

Adaptable and desirous of developing even greater skill and experience with reporting, Anthony accepted a position as Engagement Editor/Head of Video at Honolulu Civil Beat where, in addition to fashioning the strategies for social media and storytelling across social media platforms of this public-affairs-focused news organization, he recorded, produced and edited content, including the first-hand creation of mesmerizing videos covering the three-month 2018 Kilauea eruption in Hawaii in which he was recognized by the United States Senate.

Always seeking new adventures and proficiencies with photography and videography, over the years Anthony has worked variously as a video camera operator (notably for FOX’s Masked Singer and NBC’s New Year’s Eve Ball Drop), photographer (including for Twitchcon) and, of course, a social media consultant for individuals and companies.

More recently, Anthony has served as the Manager of Visual Storytelling for Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) where he produces and edits both internal videos that inform and educate TD’s workforce, as well as externally-focused video stories that highlight the exceptional character of TD’s employees, customers and their impact in the community.

Looking forward, Anthony will continue to pursue and explore exciting opportunities to direct, produce and supervise photojournalism and video storytelling projects.
